I have found that despite using my skills in a professional manner, I missed the challenge of new territory. In this case the new territory is different types of businesses to help. That is where the Daily Logo Challenge comes in. Harris Roberts created this challenge to push designers to use their skills in different ways. For me, it was the difficulty of creating logos for new types of businesses or places. There is also some prompts that have been challenging me; the fire logo prompt is haunting me for weeks now..
I am thankful for the logo challenge and it’s ability to push me outside my comfort zone. I have produced some of the best logos I have ever made because of this challenge. And I have ideas on how to expand past the logos and make some promotional materials for them as well.
I actually signed up for this prompt series in 2019 and never followed through because life got in the way. Nowadays I have more free time while I search for a permanent position so I decided to search my emails and find all 50 prompts and start to tackle them.
Whatever stage of your graphic design career you are in, this is a great side project to take up.
