Hello!
My name is Melissa Rothman. I am a designer.
I am also a daughter, a sister, an aunt, and cat mom.
I graduated cum laude from Buffalo State College in May 2017 with my BFA.
My design strengths are in logo design, branding, and layout. I have experience in social media management and content creation.
I can use Adobe Suite, Microsoft Word and Excel as well as Teams. I love learning and expanding my knowledge, so I am open to trying new skills.
Outside of working, I love to travel and experience new things and I believe that seeing new places is essential to life, and can inspire you professionally. I spent a lot of time traveling during the summer of 2016 and through Summer 2019. I learned a lot about myself and it helped me grow as a designer and creative.
I spent almost two years at SunSpin Media cultivating my design and marketing skills, as well as my skills as a team leader. As part of my first job after college and in my field I learned more about myself and my capabilities than I ever thought possible. During the Summer of 2021 I decided to take a course in Social Media to become certified in its language and use. This was an opportunity to learn more about the field I had been working in and expand my knowledge in the world of marketing and the online realm. I took my motto of “Never stop learning. Never stop growing.” and put it into practice.
